People kept asking the same question when they visited: why keep this to yourselves? Eventually, we stopped having a good answer. So we opened the gate — just a little, and only by appointment.
The dam our back paddock looks out over. The fresh country air. The particular quiet of rural Queensland.
The view across to the dam gave Damside Highlands its name. We hope you'll take a moment to slow down, take it all in and enjoy it as much as we do.
A Short Drive, A Different Pace
Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Goomboorian, Damside Highlands is just 20 minutes east of Gympie, around 25 minutes from Tin Can Bay, 40 minutes from Rainbow Beach and approximately 50 minutes from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Close enough for an easy day trip, yet far enough away to feel like you've left the busy world behind — it's a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and spend time with our Highland boys.
